Assumable moorage at the desirable Port Sidney Marina

The Hans Christian 33 is a stout, safe and comfortable bluewater cruiser – no wonder they are sought after for offshore cruising adventures.  The 33’ was the smallest of the Hans Christians and as such it is the easiest to handle. She has a lovely sheer line that is recognized worldwide, a large bowsprit, and is cutter-rigged with a self-tending staysail. The fuel and water tanks are built into the keel cavity, lending to stability. While she is a full-keel hull, the forefoot is significantly cut away, meaning that it’s built to track well and maneuvers better in tight marinas. The large rudder is well protected by the keel itself. The doubled ended hull is slightly narrower than other HCs, which lends to stability and sea-kindliness.  With their solid construction, high bulwarks, cutter rig and canoe stern, they are ready for adventures in any ocean.

Clovelly was one of the last Hans Christian 33 from the original yard – the gold standard for Hans Christian 33’s.  Since then, she has been very well cared for with extensive upgrading from 2014 to 2024 as evident by the recent survey.

With newer (or new) sails, modern electronics, upgraded electrics, new full enclosure, Clovelly is ready to head back out again for new cruising adventures.

2024 Nordik Marine survey available on request.
