1984 Uniflite Double Cabin
Every so often we come across an older vessel that has been loved by its owners and is a pleasure to list. Desdemona is such a vessel. This 1984 Uniflite 42 Aft Cabin is in impeccable condition and exudes pride of ownership.
As soon as you walk up the ladder from the swim platform onto the aft deck you will feel at home under a hard top with new windows in the canvas enclosure and a lovely seating arrangement. The enclosed flybridge features a single helm seat with an L-shaped settee for guests. The helm boasts a new Simrad chartplotter with Radar overlay, autopilot, VHF, NMEA 2000 backbone (not installed), GoFree WiFi
The interior is exceptionally clean, bright and inviting, finished in beautiful teak joinery with many bookshelves, entertainment center, large flat screen TV, cupboards and storage. There is a wonderful L-shape leather settee to port and a single chair creating a very comfortable environment. Down a few steps from the salon is the well appointed galley to starboard featuring Corian counter tops, a full size fridge/freezer with ice maker, a 3 burner 110V stove with induction oven. The dinette to port is seats six around a lovely Corian table top.
The forward guest cabin is bright and comfortable, featuring a large double or two single berth, with a vanity and sink. The guest toilet is in a separate compartment to port featuring a shower and electric flush toilet.
The owners cabin aft is a full beam cabin featuring a centerline walk around queen. The en-suite head features a bath/shower, vanity and storage with an electric flush toilet.
Desdemona's engines have been professionally maintained by a reputable mechanic. She would be a lovely cruising vessel or a fantastic live aboard.
