DESCRIPTION
US REGISTERED, NO TARIFFS OR IMPORT DUTIES FOR US BUYERS
This one owner Bavaria Vision 42 is lightly used and in excellent condition.
“Come Abroad” features the popular 2 cabins, 1 head layout, with the upgraded Teak interior and Ocean Line flooring. The large owner's cabin forward features an island queen bed allowing easy access from both sides. The saloon is very bright due to an abundance of natural light flooding in through large, tempered glass skylights and opening hatches. The head compartment is huge, featuring a separate shower stall. Aft of the shower, through a full-size door, there is a walk-in storage area with access from the cockpit. The 2nd cabin can be set up as two single beds or as a king size bed.
The Bavaria 42 Vision has an extraordinary cockpit layout because of the off-set companionway to starboard. This allows for an easy walk through access from the swim platform to the saloon even when the cockpit table is set with guests eating dinner on the port side or lowered into a sun bed.
The Vision series sails exceptionally well and is easily sailed short-handed due to the German mainsheet system with both mainsheet and genoa sheets running to winches, strategically mounted adjacent to each helm. This set up allows the rest of your family to simply relax and not be disturbed when altering course and trimming sails.
Key features include Volvo 40hp with 834 hours, bow thruster, In-mast furling mainsail, Dodger, Bimini, connector, Webasto diesel heat, B&G navigation.
If you are looking for a nearly new, leading brand sailboat, look no further than this top quality, German engineered Bavaria Vision 42

Layout & Accommodations
Deck
The cockpit and Sunbridge are very nicely appointed with ample vinyl cushions. The cockpit and Sunbridge are fully enclosed by canvas and plastic windows supported on 1" S/S framing and fittings. The forward sloping fiberglass radar arch is used on both sides for support of the enclosure. The enclosure goes all the way to the back to prevent otters from getting into the cockpit.
The cockpit and Sunbridge are divided but do have a level access between the two. Both the cockpit and Sunbridge are nicely appointed with ample seating. The cockpit has a bench seat across the transom including a bench seat along the hull side. Forward of the bench seat you have a dual pedestal wooden table with a fold in leaf on both sides. You can remove table and make this area into a sunbed. This is combined with the L-shape settee on the Sunbridge to form a fore or aft settee arrangement. The back of the settee can be folded for or aft to select orientation and use.
The Sunbridge has the helm starboard forward with full engine instrumentation, controls and electronics as noted. The helm has a vinyl-covered pedestal Captains chair being fully adjustable.
Aft of the helm station has a small beverage cabinet with a molded sink with pressure water. The stowage under the counter has the fridge/freezer.
The forward cowling has the Venturi visor with rounded corners and angled side fairing. The upper half of the Venturi is covered with plastic and suede leather canvas which continues with a full enclosure to the angled fiberglass arch. Aft of the arch is continued with tight suede leather in S/S framing. After that it has a canvas tonneau cover angled down to the transom.
The forward Sunbridge bulkhead has the companionway with steps down to the tinted and curved door. The door slides into a pocket in front of helm station.
Interior
The interior woodwork is a dark sipo finish light with burled walnut cabinet doors and teak and holly laminate flooring provides a rich European Yacht finish.
As you come down the 3 solid wood steps into the salon you have to starboard the C shaped dinette. Aft to port is access to the generous aft cabin. Forward of the aft cabin door is the galley to port. Ahead of the salon is the main bulkhead with enclosed head compartment to port. Moving through the bulkhead door you have the forward stateroom. The head is accessed from the main salon and also the forward stateroom. The head and forward stateroom don’t have the teak and holly flooring.
Main cabin
The interior of the vessel is nicely laid out and functional. It has a vinyl deckhead, teak and holly sole and fabric sliding curtains. The cushions are fabric covered noted in very nice condition. The cabinetry and bulkhead are exotic wood and teak. Overall the interior was found in very nice condition and with good housekeeping practices.
The layout has the forward stateroom (or “V-berth”) with a large queen size offset to starboard and against the forward bulkhead. The berth has full stowage under which include the two batteries dedicated to run the bow thruster including the “Prosport HD8" battery charger. The stowage also includes a heater an outlet from the Espar cabin heater. The hull sides have lockers secured under the deckhead. A hanging locker is located starboard aft. The partial aft bulkhead has an en-suite door to the enclosed head on the port side. The head is also accessible from the salon with a hinged door.
The enclosed head has a “Jabsco” manual marine head and a vanity with a round zinc and pressure water. The tap pulls out to make a shower wand. The deckhead has a full surround track for the plastic shower curtain.
The salon has the galley counter on the port side with an in-counter 2-burner alcohol/electric stove. The counter has the round S/S sink with pressure water. The galley has ample stowage and locker both on the hull side above the counter and below which include the fridge/freezer.
The starboard side of the salon has an U-shaped settee with full stowage under. The aft settee has an outlet from the Espar heater. A pedestal table is located in front of the settee with folding leafs. The table noted minor water damage.
The partial aft salon bulkhead has the center steps to the Sunbridge and a hinged door on the port side to the quarter berth. The quarter berth has a large queen size berth. DESCRIPTION
NO LUXURY TAX
Step aboard this 2021 Bavaria C42, a turn key and ready to sail performance cruiser that is in exceptional condition with many upgrades, ideal for the PNW cruising or beyond.
Key features to highlight are: full "La Fabrica" enclosure, custom S/S arch to accommodate the dingy davits, radar and Starlink, full battened mainsail, self-tacking jib, code zero, solar panels, upgraded 57hp Yanmar, bow thruster, Webasto diesel heat, separate freezer in the pantry, 10ft dinghy and 8hp Yamaha outboard.
She features a 2 cabin 1 head layout which includes a pantry aft of the galley plus access to a utility room where a 3rd cabin would be in the 3 cabin version. The head compartment is large with a separate shower stall.
The sailing characteristics of the C42 is exceptional. The helmsman will first notice the direct feel of the helm due to the Jeffa steering linkage from the twin wheels to the single high aspect ratio rudder. With the modern and innovative hull featuring hard chines and a V-shaped bow, this vessel is well balanced and easy to handle in all conditions.
The sail plan is perfect for the PNW. The full battened main sail in a lazy bag gives the vessel the additional power and sail area required. The self tacking jib helps for short handed sailing and the code zero which is controlled from the cockpit allows for fun and easy sailing off the wind.
The current owners sail short handed most of the time including two trips to Alaska, and often she is sailed single handed.

DESCRIPTION
ASSUMABLE MOORAGE IN SIDNEY.
The Bavaria S40 Hardtop brings excellent German engineering to a layout that suits PNW cruising. She cruises comfortably at 27 knots and is genuinely easy to handle, even single-handed, thanks to the joystick controller. The electric, teak-covered swim platform makes dinghy launching simple and gives the whole family a proper swim step off the transom.
Up top, the cockpit's oversized sliding sunroof turns the deck into a bright, open space for entertaining. Below, you'll find a private salon and two cabins, including a king-sized owner's berth, for when it's time to settle in.
Pacific Viking is a clean example of the S40. She's been lightly used, kept up well, and is ready for another season on the water.
Yacht Sales West has been bringing Bavaria to North America for decades now, and we'd be glad to show you this boat in person and support you long after you've bought her.

DESCRIPTION
"Starfall" is a fine example of the stylish Bavaria C45. In July 2026 the vessel underwent an extensive service which included a new chartplotter to the starboard helm, electrical service, new rudder bearing, saildrive service, new bottom paint and top side polish.
The C45 is designed for comfort and performance. She offers a spacious and well organized deck layout, ideal for both relaxed cruising and active sailing. The cockpit is expansive, featuring dual helm stations for improved maneuverability and two folding tables, perfect for entertaining. The C45's smartly designed sail plan makes handling easy even with a small crew. She features a full battened mainsail and a self tacking jib, including a code zero and asymmetrical gennaker. There are no winches on the coach roof as both sets of winches, lines and clutches lead aft to each helm making it easy for the helmsman to short hand her. Other features to highlight are: Dodger, bimini and connector, dinghy mounted on telescopic davits, a dinghy garage which is best to use for all the toys, full suite of B&G electronics.
Below decks, Starfall is equally impressive with an open airy interior filled with natural light from numerous windows and hatches. She features a 3 cabin 2 head layout with the dinette lowerable for an additional double berth. The owners cabin features a walk around centerline queen bed and split shower and toilet compartments. Her L-shaped galley is expansive and very well equipped with an Isotherm two draw fridge/freezer, plus an additional top loading fridge. The interior is kept "toasty" with two Webasto Forced air heating units.
