Description

The Hanse 401 provides you with a Classic Herreshoff interior with a 2000's construction and a hull form that drives to weather in a chop without having to play the main.  With her Navy Blue hull and white cabintop Spica 9 looks beautiful just sitting at anchor. Once sailing she looks even better. The feel of the helm is just pure enjoyment. She is light on the helm and just a pleasure to drive.

Once at anchor or at the dock after a fantastic sail the interior is inviting and warm. The high gloss trim combined with the white bulkheads give you a light yet rich interior.

Spica 9 is an offshore vet. She sailed from the eastern seaboard of Canada to BC through the Panama Canal. She is well equipped for coastal cruising and with a few newer upgrades she can head off again.

She is a 2 cabin 1 head with storage room model of the 401. This gives you great storage accessible from the cockpit and interior.

Huge owners stateroom forward. The salon has a large C shaped salon with sturdy table across from 2  bucket seats to port with nav station between them. The firm ultra leather upholstery in the salon is in excellent condition.

She has forced air cabin heat, 2 fridges so you can have one as a freezer. The enclosed head is excellent for distance sailing.

On deck you have dodger, Bimini, cockpit table, large wheel, excellent cockpit seating for sailing and hanging out, walk thru transom. Double spreader rig with self tacking jib, stack pack for mainsail with lazy jacks, Large sturdy radar arch with built in davit, solar and much more.
