The BAVARIA C38 combines perfect sailing characteristics, easy handling and maximum use of the interior space. Distinctive design features, such as the BAVARIA V-bow and Chines at the stern, guarantee safe and fast sailing characteristics and an incredible amount of space below deck. In the owner’s cabin in the bow, the double bed measures a sensational 1.73 x 2 metres. The berths in the stern cabins measure 1.50 x 2 metres, which must also be close to a record for this size of boat.

When developing the rigging and sail plan, the development team from BAVARIA YACHTS in collaboration with Cossutti Yacht Design focussed on two aspects in particular: easy handling and above-average performance. 46 square metres of sail area for the mainsail and 35 square metres for the genoa sail provide the BAVARIA C38 with an extra portion of power from the wind. While sailing with the wind abeam or running before the wind, a Code 0 sail (70 square metres) and a gennaker (130 square metres) ensure maximum speed. The self-tacking jib means the easiest of handling when tacking. What’s more, it’s included in the standard version of the BAVARIA C38. In order to be able to perfectly trim the two-spreader mast on all courses, a backstay and backstay tensioner are also included in the BAVARIA C38’s basic equipment.

BAVARIA C38 A new sense of space The foredeck and side decks provide generous room for a sailing yacht of this size. The innovative hull design also opens up new dimensions below deck. New Haven is a very well maintained 1984 Baltic 38 DP. The 38DP has a reputation as one of the great Baltic builds as Doug Peterson was in his prime when he designed her.  Boats of this era are great upwind and make for fast offshore sailors or just sailing anywhere. A well maintained Baltic is worth the money when compared to ones that aren’t. New Haven has had major upgrades for offshore cruising and racing.

BAVARIA C46 - Data and Options

A large owner's cabin with a separate shower or rather two cabins with their own bathroom in the bow? A fifth cabin with double bunk beds for the crew, a utility room or rather a fourth bathroom? The BAVARIA C46 offers a wide range of possibilities below deck.

Introducing the C&C 37/40+, a remarkable Racer/Cruiser which features the same hull as the race proven C&C 37R but the difference being that the interior was designed for comfortable cruising. Perhentian is a fine example of such a vessel. She has had the same owners for the last 25 years and has been well maintained and loved throughout their ownership. She is extremely well equipped for cruising the PNW.

Perhentian features a 2 cabin 1 head layout. The owners cabin aft features a centerline queen bed in a full beam aft cabin. The sail plan is perfect for the PNW. The full battened main sail in a lazy bag gives the vessel the additional power and sail area required. The self tacking jib helps for short handed sailing and the code zero which is controlled from the cockpit allows for fun and easy sailing off the wind.

The current owners sail short handed most of the time including two trips to Alaska, and often she is sailed single handed.
