Description

CONSTRUCTION

  • Solid overbuilt hand laid triaxial knitted 1 piece Fiberglass hull
  • NPG type gelcoat with vinylester resin in outer layers
  • Keel hung rudder
  • Glassed in bulkheads
  • Hull to deck joint is inward turning 2 .5” flange through bolted with ¼” bolts on 6” centers
  • 6061 Aluminum backing plate on hull deck joint with 3M 5200 bedding compound between hull deck
  • Solid teak cap rail over hull deck joint
  • Fibreglass deck is cored with PolyCore
  • Bronze thru hulls
  • Keel stepped mast
  • Overbuilt bow sprit with teak plate on top
  • Keel is part of hull mold so no bolts
  • Iron and cement ballast glassed into hull
  • Extra layers of fiberglass at bottom of keel
  • Rudder stock is 2” stainless steel attached to stainless steel shoe
