This Beneteau First 47.7 is an exceptionally well equipped vessel and has been upgraded and maintained to a very high standard.
String Theory is a 2 cabin 2 head version with a very useful and functional utility room. The interior features rich Cherry cabinetry with new Cream upholstery. The teak and holly style sole was recently refinished and also has a blue snap in carpet which adds to her overall charm.

CONSTRUCTION
- The single skinned hull is made of GRP and Glass fiber construction with balsa stringers
- A structural inner moulding is bonded to the hull to absorb stresses at pressure points (chain plate tie rods, keel, rudder etc) spreading the load. Deck is balsa cored
- Upgraded with a new Carbon Fiber rudder ($17,000), new rudder bearing top and bottom (2016)
- Keel was stripped to metal, then 1 layer of West epoxy applied, 6 layers of Interlux Interprotect plus 3 layers of VC Offshore (Sept 2022)
INTERIOR
- 2 Cabin 2 head layout, with large utility room
- Cabinetry is varnished cherry with hardwood trim all newly refinished to a very high standard.
- The sole is a teak and holly style, newly refinished.
- New leatherette upholstery installed in the Dinette (2019)
- Custom fitted snap in carpets throughout
- Salon: exceptionally spacious with 6’7’ headroom, 6 opening ports and hatches allowing an abundant of air and natural light into the salon
- Oval settee and dinette table to starboard with a centerline bench seat
- To port is a long settee with storage below seating.
- Outboard are cupboards and shelving on both sides
