2005 Hallberg-Rassy 43

Price: 395000 USD

After completing his lifelong goal of circumnavigating the Pacific Ocean and doing most of it singlehanded, Wind River’s current owner (Raffi) is looking to pass the torch to a new skipper.  Ideally, the new owners would wants to add another chapter to this vessel’s ocean-crossing story, and value doing so in style, comfort and safety aboard an organized and turnkey yacht.

Wind River shows pride of ownership and is often complemented at the anchorages and marinas she visits. Over three years, Raffi has painstakingly overhauled, replaced, upgraded or added every system aboard, and has been involved in every aspect of the work.  More than $110,000 in upgrades and improvements have been made to the vessel’s rigging, sails, safety, comfort, electronics, and communication systems. All work has been documented on a digital maintenance board that includes checklists and service schedules, and all system manuals are available in a digital library.

Wind River is currently in Japan and will be sailing to Sidney, BC starting late May/Early June.  If purchased before departure, the seller will help the new owners deliver her to the South Pacific or SE Asia.  On arrival in North America she will be available for viewing at our Port Sidney sales docks.

US Duty paid.  We have extensive experience in international sales so contact us to find out how to buy this boat in a tax efficient manner.  No luxury tax for Canadian buyers and no US duty/tariffs for US buyers.

With a major upgrading and currently actively cruising, Wind River is ready for more adventures whether coastally or crossing any ocean.
