2007 Hanse 400e   Specifications

Highlights 

•   Prepreg fiberglass epoxy hull vacuum bagged with Corecell foam post cured
•   Epoxy hulls weigh less and don't blister
•   Sandwich construction deck
•   White hull with blue stripe
•   Lead bulb with iron keel for added uphill performance and stiffness
•   Glassed in bulkheads
•   Keel was installed with epoxy and then dropped and reattached with 5200 to perfect match, interior      backing plates were epoxied in and then keel mated
•   Keel has 6 massive stainless steel bolts (40mm)
•   Keel shank is iron with lead bulb on bottom to make a stiff plate with weight low down. Also protects      hull as lead absorbs energy of impact better than steel
•   Gelcoat on bottom was protected by correct amount of Inter-protect 2000 or 3000 depending on             temperature of hull at time of application

•   Jeffa rod link steering system with large leather wrapped wheel

 INTERIOR 

 6'4 headroom in most of the boat gives a feeling of space in this bright and airy boat. Most lights are LED,    the Camframo fans throughout the boat are 3 speed, there is bedding for all the staterooms.

Owner's stateroom

•  Forward cabin has large V-berth (7' long)
•  Shelving both port and starboard above berth.

•  Opening Lewmar port over aft hanging locker across from head
•  Overhead hatch is large opening Lewmar hatch
•  Upholstery is still in excellent condition and very firm

Owner's head

• Enclosed head to starboard with vanity, marine toilet and shower
• Cabinet under vanity and mirrored cabinet outboard of vanity

Main Salon

The main salon is very bright and inviting. The satin oak finish combined with the white bulkheads allows you to use less lighting in the day and at night. With the small nav table to port you have 2 swivel chairs across from the dining area allowing people to chat to each other without feeling cramped at the main table. There is lots of natural light and fresh air venting from all the opening ports and hatches so after a few days of rain you can open the boat up. 110v outlets in each cabin and heads

Main cabin head

•  Large head to port with large opening Lewmar port for excellent venting
•  Forward in head is separate shower stall with frosted poly-carbonate door

Galley

•  L shaped galley to starboard with black countertop
•  Upgraded Gimblled Force 10 3 burner propane stove and oven with broiler 
•  Sink has 2 removable counter covers
•  Ample cupboards and drawers under the outboard of galley counter on both sides of the oven
•  Ample cupboards outboard of the counter top
•  Above the cupboards is a large opening Lewmar port 
•  Well insulated Isotherm 12v top and front loading ice box with freezer unit in corner of the L counter      top
•  Double stainless steel sinks facing forward in the L of the counter top
